There is one game in particular that has a lot of mystery surrounding it, and that’s Injustice 3. DC FanDome is DC’s free, global virtual fan event featuring a live webcast and activities, for one day only, where we showcase our biggest movies, games, shows, comics and more and get up close and personal with the people behind the characters and worlds we love. On the streaming side of things, we’ll get the first teaser trailers for James Gunn’s “The Suicide Squad” spinoff HBO Max series “Peacemaker” and the limited series “DMZ,” as well as more sneak peeks at other upcoming shows including “Harley Quinn” Season 3, “Aquaman: King of Atlantis,” “Batman: Caped Crusader” and “Young Justice: Phantoms.” There will also be surprises and sneak peeks from “Titans” and “Doom Patrol.”

So, by the typical schedule, it’s getting about time for an Injustice 3 and there’s rumors that an Injustice and Mortal Kombat are already in development for next generation consoles, just don’t expect it at tomorrow’s DC FanDome.In addition to other potential surprises, we have confirmation that DC Fandome will debut a new trailer for “The Batman,” a first look at Dwayne Johnson’s DC movie “Black Adam,” a sneak peek at “The Flash,” new content from the animated “DC League of Super-Pets” movie and behind-the-scenes videos from the sets of “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” and “Shazam! Fury of the Gods.” A recent Tweet from Ed Boon suggests that an announcement about Injustice 3 might be coming soon, as the developer is appearing on a panel at the DC FanDome event later in the month.


The last game in the series, Injustice 2, released in 2017 with the last game from NetherRealm releasing in 2019, Mortal Kombat 11.
